Costume Ideas

What costume to wear in outbreak manila really occupies all my thoughts right now add up the excitement over the fact that it will be just days from now. For the whole day, all I can think is a costume that will make everyone laugh and cute at the same time so I came up with this two;

My first pick;
Remember Kathy Beth Terry? She is the alter ego of Katy Perry from her music video Last Friday Night.
I know exactly where to look for this clothes; THRIFT SHOPS! (ukay-ukay). One thing to know about thrift shops (if you don't shop at these stores) is there are a lot of varieties of clothes to choose from and the clothes are actually imported so this things'll be easier to find and not all of them are used, you'll need to dig through all of the racks to find something worthy (sometimes, you could stumble upon a designer shirt and jeans!). Plus, it's cheap! Anyway, I'll just replace those pink chucks with a running shoes for a better chase-marathon with zombies! :)

My second pick;
And this! I seriously think this is hilarious! I can't picture myself wearing this. Oh, but I surely will for the sake of a hella-fun night! Only if I didn't find the things for my first pick. Things that I need are the over-all pajama and a teddy! Or, It could be a simple pajamas, robe, a teddy and a messy hair so it'll look like I woke up in the midst of a zombie apocalypse.

Eughh! I am completely stoked about these ideas that I can't cope up with the level of my excitement. Let the countdown begin!

I'm officially in!

Yay! Outbreak Manila here I come! No zombie will ever get to touch even the tip of my hair! Hahaha!
I can't freaking wait to outrun those zombies. What's more even exciting is, I'll get a chance to see Enchanted Kingdom at night! Our schedule is 12 midnight. Woohooo. Can't wait to kick-ass those zombie. Kidding.

Last night was completely way off chart! I mean, I think I've had enough with all the ideas of luring myself on night outs, parties and other vices. I can't actually pin-point which part of last night went wrong that I came to this realization on my way home. I had fun though, but, there's a big BUT that I can't explain myself and I know it's there. I guess, there'll be just time in your life where you'll get tired and bored with the sameness of everything you do.

I think it's good that I'm having all these realization now. I'm young and I can still completely change that cycle/habit or whatever it is you call. Anyway, I'll now completely devote myself to a healthier lifestyle. Wait. I don't think I can devote myself entirely. I don't think I can because of those damn junkies and comfort foods. I think I'll just do marathons instead of going to bars and chugging down a bottle of vodka. So yeah, heading to a little bit healthier me.

I can't completely take away night outs, it's still fun to do and a great stress reliever, it will just not be as often as before and not much drinking.

20 things to do before turning 20

My Bestfriend had this crazy idea of making 20 random list of to-do's before turning 20. And I thought that it was actually a good idea since we're both turning 20 next year. So, I made a list of my own! Of course, the list below are the things I haven't done yet.

This is in no particular order:

1. Watch a movie alone in cinema
2. Go paintballing.
3. Learn to cook 3 dishes.
4. Get another piercing. (my mom detest this but I want it)
5. Go clubbing.
6. Play Beerpong.
7. See a band/artist I love in concert.
8. Run in a marathon.
9. See an indie movie.
10. Find the perfect little black dress.
11. Get completely shitfaced.
12. Donate Blood.
13. Learn yoga and Pilates.
14. Eat on a meal challenge.
15. Buy a surfboard.
16. Play Lasertag!
17. Learn to skateboard.
18. Participate in a costume party., Halloween, etc.
19. Make a cover of my favorite song and post it on social media network.
20. See Tanduay First Five this year!

I actually want to add skinny dipping (but I dont think I have the guts to do it) and getting a tattoo (I'll be in big trouble if I did this). Anyway, I'll try to post everything that I will do in this list.

I am in fact sobbing over the fact that I won't be able to watch Adam Levine live tomorrow. Though, I do think that watching concert is just a money down the toilet cause it is overly priced but c'mon! it's ADAM !! I know that every cents on that ticket will be worth it especially when he starts ripping his clothes off. Hayy, I'll just play the whole Maroon 5's album tomorrow with my player's loudest volume and sing along at the top of my lungs. Yep, that's my way of protesting not being able to watch them live. Anyway, what more can I do? Just wait for their next album tour and I'll make sure that I will be first in line at the ticket booth for their concert.

I've finally decided where I would spend my Halloween! Yay! This would be great, awesome! Its says that costumes are highly recommended, plus it's a marathon! It's like hitting two birds in one stone. I haven't joined any marathons ever since, I haven't been in a costume party and both are I'm more than willing to try! So, what I need now is a light costume that wouldn't be a hindrance to my running especially if there are zombies to tackle you -that is how this works, you run, save your three flags from the hungry zombies and get yo ass to the finish line of course, with at least one flag with you- and a good running shoes. Oh! I still need to wait for their announcement on where will this be held. The last one was in BGC. I hope this one will be in MOA cause it's near our place and wouldn't be a hassle for me and my costume.

I could finally know why barney ended up marrying robin when he actually proposed-in-a-not-really-sweet-manner to his stripper girlfriend! And ahhh-nother season of hashtag crazy, hashtag awesome, hashtag legen .. wait for it.. dary and hashtag more-reasons-to-stay-at-home.

Another reason to get excited to this month is, my Dad's Birthday! :)))

Plus, holiday is just around the corner, Now that it's officially a BER-month, I could hear Christmas songs playing every morning around the house, well, I already got used to it since I was a kid my dad is always the first one in our subdivision to blast our house with Christmas songs this time of the year, so yeah, don't be surprised if I know every lyrics to every Christmas song.

And... Andd.. Anddddddd...

I'm now going to allow myself to join Halloween costume parties. Yes, you heard that right. Me, in a costume, in a party. Well, I don't know what to expect yet, but if I found it fun, you might see me in a costume yearly! hahaha.

Sonnet XVII Love

I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz,
or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off.
I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

I love you as the plant that never blooms
but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where.
I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride;
so I love you because I know no other way

than this: where I does not exist, nor you,
so close that your hand on my chest is my hand,
so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.
-Pablo Neruda

Indulging myself to a great nostalgia. Ringing back my high school memoirs. Allowing my mind to time travel and be swept off my feet once again.

There is probably no way I could describe her. I honestly loved her ever since the day that I accidentally stumbled upon her song Video Games. I'm really not an avid fan of her that I know every song and every lyrics to her album. No. To be honest, Video Games is the only song that I liked after I listened to her whole album. Main reason why I loved her, is HER! I love the way she dresses, how she portray herself in every music videos of her and I actually loved all the MV's she did except for the songs, not really.
I think it's because we have the same passion/love over vintage stuffs. Uhuh. Vintage. Just watching her in every music vids that she had, I could actually feel being reeled back through time and see myself wearing those 60's,70's,80's dresses and had my hair have that big puff and big curls.

Extreme Couponing

Just a few weeks ago, my grandpa and I started to watch this reality show called Extreme Couponing on TLC and we got really interested in it that we already made it a habit watching it at 4pm. Im in awe to see that they could have 95% removed on their total bill. They can even get to make it a 100% off! Holy camole! Who doesn't want that! A 2month's stock of groceries for FREE?!

Really amazing! I wonder what if Philippines also had that kind of coupons? AHH! Long lines in the cashier checkout, the couponers in the show took an hour just to finish the whole process plus 4-5 hours if something goes wrong with the coupons. Today that coupons are not available here, we are already standing an hour just to wait for our turn in the cashier, what more if we had that coupons? Oh my god! the horror! I cant imagine standing that long, waiting. But it will be worth the wait if I could have my groceries for FREE.

Plus, knowing all Pinoys (I for one) are savvy and will do anything to have a double income so prolly when that coupon starts to have it's way here, I bet my life for sure, There'll be a hell lot of sari-sari store next to each other! But anyhow, it's still pretty cool to have those adjustments in your bill. From a thousand bucks down to thirty bucks?! Not bad. Really not bad at all.

So, here's one episode of the show, so I could share my awe with you. And you're seriously gonna wish to have that motivation collecting those coupons.

j'adore

Whoah! Look who spent 15 hours just by giving this blog a design it deserves. Guilty! :)

I know, I know. This blog is really going nowhere but let me try giving it another shot on blogging and give this page a little more to scroll about. I just prayed that someone above would take away my laziness on actually portraying my thoughts into words and make this page a lil bit livelier.

To start off again cause I already manage to post two entries (which I'm not very proud of) last year before I started to make this blog, and decided to just delete it and just start with a clean slate. Just to give a heads-up (for someone out there tryna read my shits here if there is one) I'll be most likely talk anything under the sun that is provoking my thoughts to go typing.

Hence, let me start you with some things on my bucket list before summer starts again next year; I know classes just started a few months ago and summer is like, still 8 months to go but some items on this list had a really serious price so I must start saving up now to have at least see my long list scraped off one by one.

Here are a few things on my lists;
Surfboard; Long board to be precise,  one that is 9' - 10' which costs around Php 15-20,000
Over the last summer, I had a friend who is really into surfing and skim boarding and then he started teaching  me both and oh boy, I got hooked instantly, its like love at first try. So it leads mo to a motivation of having my own surfing board!
Another long board but with wheels
Aha, yes, Im really into boards at this very moment, Of course, That one friend also lets me borrow his skate board (the long board type shown in the picture) and again, what can you say, I liked it! That some kind of adrenaline pushing through your system that gives you the thrill and excitement and gives you bruises but definitely worth it. Man it makes me want to buy this one now.

So that's the first two of my long list. I hope I have all the courage to save up for this, thinking of all the temptations around me; clothes, shoes, food. Plus knowing myself that I get a little weak seeing/leaving the top on that rack.
